Leinfelden-Echterdingen – The Supervisory Board of Daimler Truck Holding AG has appointed Yvonne Bettkober as a new Member of the Board of Management, effective October 1, 2026. She will assume responsibility for Human Resources across the Daimler Truck Group and as Labor Director. Her initial term extends until September 30, 2029. Bettkober joins the company from Audi AG, where she most recently served as Chief Transformation Officer.

Jürgen Hartwig, responsible for Human Resources at Daimler Trucks since 2016 and Member of the Board of Management of Daimler Truck Holding AG since December 2021, will leave the company at his own request after more than 30 years at the end of November 2026.

About Yvonne Bettkober

Before joining Daimler Truck, Bettkober served as Chief Transformation Officer at Audi AG, where she led company-wide efficiency and organizational transformation programs. Her earlier career includes leadership roles in the IT and telecommunications sectors at Microsoft, Tibco Software, and Telesens. In 2019, she joined Amazon Web Services as General Manager/CEO for the Switzerland and Austria region. In 2023, she moved to the Volkswagen Group’s software unit, CARIAD, where she assumed responsibility for transformation, organizational development, and advisory functions for both the Board of Management and Supervisory Board. She later took on an expanded role overseeing Group-level organizational development and transformation at Volkswagen AG.

About Jürgen Hartwig

Jürgen Hartwig has been a member of the Board of Management of Daimler Truck Holding AG since December 2021, responsible for Human Resources. In addition, he has been the Labor Director of Daimler Truck Holding AG since June 2022. After studying business education at the University of Mannheim, he began his professional career in 1993 at the former Daimler-Benz AG in the Human Resources and Organizational Development at the Gaggenau Plant. Subsequently, he held numerous Human Resources senior leadership roles within the Daimler Group, including leading HR for Research and Development and overseeing HR for Daimler’s operations in China. In 2016, he was appointed Head of HR for Daimler Trucks. Over more than three decades, he has played a key role in shaping the company’s HR strategy, culture and transformation.

The Supervisory Board’s appointment of Bettkober applies equally to Daimler Truck Holding AG and Daimler Truck AG.
