At IFAT 2026, the world’s leading trade fair for water, wastewater, waste, and resource management, Mercedes-Benz Trucks will present a comprehensive portfolio of vehicle solutions for municipal operations and the circular economy from May 4 to 7. With a total of eleven vehicles, the manufacturer will demonstrate how everyday municipal tasks can be handled efficiently and confidently.

Danish vehicle logistics provider Dansk Auto Logik has recently put its first fully electric car transporter into operation, based on the Mercedes Benz eActros 600.

Euro NCAP awards five stars for the high safety level of Mercedes-Benz Trucks

In the latest Euro NCAP safety tests for regional distribution transport, Mercedes‑Benz Trucks has achieved a five‑star rating with an Actros 4x2 Rigid with box body. EURO NCAP stands for European New Car Assessment Programme and is an independent European vehicle safety rating program that evaluates vehicles based on standardized crash tests and the performance of safety and driver assistance systems.

16 New Setra Touring Coaches for Cruise Passengers

The company Ludwig Arzt Omnibusverkehr e.K. is expanding its cooperation with Viking River Cruises through the addition of 16 new vehicles from the Setra ComfortClass. The operator based in Seligenporten near Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate region took delivery of eight new Setra touring coaches in Neu‑Ulm, while eight additional vehicles were handed over to subcontractors Schmetterling Group Travel, Braumüller, Kugler Omnibusreisen, and Willax.
