Amazon to receive more than 50 Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 electric trucks in Germany

Mercedes-Benz Trucks has officially handed over the first 27 battery-electric Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 to Amazon. By the end of 2026, a total of more than 50 battery-electric trucks of the same type will be operating on German roads for Amazon's transportation network.

Industry Leaders to join Forces to Scale Hydrogen Mobility

Leading companies from the transport, energy and industrial sectors, together with German policymakers, are collaborating to establish a benchmark for a fully integrated hydrogen mobility ecosystem for heavy-duty transport. They reflect a shared ambition to scale hydrogen with a focus on customer-oriented refueling infrastructure and competitively priced hydrogen fuel.

130 years of trucks: Mercedes-Benz Trucks kicks off the “Deutschlandfahrt” 2026 at Wörth plant

During the “130 years of trucks” anniversary year, Mercedes-Benz Trucks is hosting the official opening of the “Deutschlandfahrt” 2026. The long-standing historic vehicle tour begins on August 27 at the Mercedes-Benz Wörth plant and this year covers approximately 1,086 kilometers through Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

Ten new Setra low-entry buses for Geldhauser

Geldhauser Linien- und Reiseverkehr GmbH & Co. KG is rejuvenating its fleet with ten new low-entry buses from the Setra MultiClass range. Nine vehicles, equipped with 45 seats, will operate on various routes in the district of Starnberg on behalf of Münchner Verkehrs- und Tarifverbund GmbH (MVV).

Setra-Tellbus connects the cantons of Lucerne and Uri

On behalf of Auto AG Uri, Verkehrsbetriebe Luzern AG (VBL AG) is operating a new S 531 DT on the express bus route from Lucerne to Altdorf. Known as the Tellbus, the Setra double-decker coach connects the two cantonal capitals every day at regular intervals with only one intermediate stop.

Daimler Truck Completes Secondary Offering of ARCHION Shares

The Daimler Truck Group (“Daimler Truck”) has successfully completed the previously announced secondary offering of shares of ARCHION. Following settlement of the transaction, Daimler Truck's equity stake in ARCHION has been reduced to 25% as planned, in line with the ownership structure in ARCHION foreseen as part of the business integration of Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (“Mitsubishi Fuso”) and Hino Motors, Ltd. (“Hino”).
