Major order: Lithuanian logistics and transport company TRANSTIRA exclusively expands international long-haul fleet with more than 500 Mercedes-Benz Actros L ProCabin

Mercedes‑Benz Trucks has secured a major order from Lithuanian logistics and transport company TRANSTIRA. The manufacturer will deliver more than 500 Actros L ProCabin trucks to the customer, headquartered in Vilnius, during 2026.

Strong fleet for demanding missions: major Unimog order for THW

The German Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW) is receiving 66 new highly off-road-capable emergency response vehicles based on the Unimog U 5025 for civil protection purposes. One of the key features is a more powerful engine with 21 hp more compared to the previous series production vehicle. The Unimog base vehicle is manufactured in Wörth am Rhein, while the bodies are built by F&B Nutzfahrzeug-Technik GmbH in nearby Hagenbach in the Palatinate region.

350th Mercedes‑Benz city bus delivered to Heilbronn

Representatives of Stadtwerke Heilbronn (SWHN) arrived in fitting style for the handover of five Mercedes‑Benz Citaro LE hybrid buses at the Mercedes‑Benz plant in Mannheim – in an immaculately restored Mercedes‑Benz O 3500 from 1950, which was the very first Mercedes‑Benz city bus delivered to Heilbronn.

Daimler Truck inaugurates new truck and bus production site in Argentina

Mercedes-Benz Camiones y Buses, a subsidiary of Daimler Truck, celebrated the official inauguration of its new Zárate Industrial Center north of Buenos Aires. Built on a 20-hectare site, the new Industrial Center houses the production of Mercedes-Benz truck models and bus chassis.

Next-Generation Driver Training Truck: the eActros 600

The transformation of road freight transport continues to gain momentum: by adding a Mercedes Benz eActros 600 to its training fleet, the ECF Pro Boulogne sur Mer training center in Isques, northern France, is sending a clear signal about the future of truck driver training. It is the first battery electric driver training truck in France.

Daimler Truck, MB Energy and Kawasaki Heavy Industries signed agreement to develop liquefied hydrogen supply chain to Europe via Hamburg

Under this agreement, the three companies will use their respective expertise and proceed with specific studies to establish an economically viable liquefied hydrogen supply chain to the port of Hamburg. The objective is to achieve Commercial Operation Date (COD) for the supply of liquefied hydrogen and hydrogen by the early 2030s.
