On Two Axles Under the Open Sky: Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 Expedition Vehicle and Several Unimogs at Abenteuer Allrad 2026

Until June 7, 2026, visitors to the Abenteuer Allrad off-road and adventure exhibition can experience several highlights from Mercedes-Benz Trucks. Content creator Tobias Wagner, known as “Elektrotrucker,” is presenting his fully completed world-travel expedition vehicle for the first time: an eActros 600 equipped with a specially developed motorhome body from Bliss Mobil. Wagner plans to embark on a round-the-world journey with the vehicle this autumn.

Electric into the future: Racktours takes delivery of its first Mercedes‑Benz eCitaro

Racktours GmbH & Co. KG, based in Erlensee near Hanau, has taken delivery today of three new all-electric Mercedes‑Benz eCitaro solo buses. The twelve-meter vehicles were handed over by Sinisa Ristic, Sales Mercedes‑Benz Buses at Daimler Buses, to Racktours Managing Director Benjamin Elsner, Operations Manager Robert Wiebel, Senior Owner Uwe Viel, and Christian Schädler, Head of Operations, Quality & Customer Management.

Bus companies from across Europe rely on Setra touring coaches. Among them are Switzerland-based Gössi Carreisen, Norway’s Team Tour, and Belgium’s De Zigeuner.

Mercedes-Benz Trucks expands its e-truck portfolio with new eActros Lowliner variant

Mercedes-Benz Trucks is introducing another variant to its eActros portfolio: the Mercedes-Benz eActros Lowliner, available with either two or three battery packs, expands the manufacturer’s electric truck lineup with a solution designed specifically for high volume transport. With the Lowliner, Mercedes-Benz Trucks is directly addressing the growing demand for locally CO₂e free transport options in the volume intensive long haul logistics segment.

Against the backdrop of global crises, increasing extreme weather events, and growing demands on emergency services, INTERSCHUTZ in Hannover will open its doors on June 1, 2026. At the leading international trade fair for fire and rescue services, civil protection, and security, Mercedes-Benz Trucks will present a broad portfolio of mission-specific vehicle solutions.

Test vehicle Setra S 515 LE for the “Bus Euro Test 2026” in Hungary: Setra MultiClass S 515 LE hybrid – impressive across the board

The 12,210 mm-long test vehicle provided in Adriatic blue has a 6-cylinder OM 936 in-line engine producing 260 kW (354 hp) and a maximum torque of 1400 Nm at 1200 rpm. The intercity bus is equipped with a ZF Ecolife 2 6-speed automatic transmission with torque converter.
