BharatBenz Buses

BharatBenz is the youngest member of the Daimler Truck family. And this newness comes with its own perks. The BharatBenz bus range is primed with a repertoire of new-age technology built on years of expertise – making each one a world-standard product, perfect for India’s volume market in the school, staff and tourist bus segments.

BharatBenz buses are more than just designed according to the latest Daimler Buses engineering. They are also proudly manufactured locally, with around 90% of the components and parts sourced from Indian suppliers to provide customers the best of both worlds.

BharatBenz buses are made for all of life’s journeys - for schoolchildren, office workers and tourists alike. No matter how their day goes, what the road may bring, or where the journey takes them in the rush and rattle of the everyday - here’s a place where they can be free of it all. A place of constant comfort, where they can be themselves. So, no matter what the conditions outside, here, they #RideUnconditionally.

Here’s what you get with a BharatBenz bus.

  • World-class comfort: Wider body, powerful air-conditioning and state-of-the-art suspension that ensures fewer vibrations and more good vibes.
  • Highest safety standards: Wide brake lining controlled by electronic distribution for the safest of trips, day in and day out.
  • Maximum stability: Wide chassis frame width, tubeless radial tires and anti-roll bars that help the bus stay firmly on the road.

Young, successful, established.

Within no time at all, BharatBenz has become an aspirational brand as well as a strong contender in India's commercial vehicle industry. BharatBenz buses have been in the market since May 2015, selling a comprehensive range of fully equipped front-engine buses.

BharatBenz buses are produced at Daimler India Commercial Vehicles in Oragadam, near Chennai, in a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant that spreads over 400 acres (160 hectares). The premises include a highly modern test track and are home to the company’s headquarters, R&D and training operations.
