Martin Daum

Martin Daum was born on October 28, 1959, in Karlsruhe, Germany. After graduating from high school in 1978, he did an apprenticeship as a banker. Post his apprenticeship, in 1980, he studied economics at the University of Mannheim, Germany, and graduated with a master’s degree in economics in 1985. After two years of working as a Management Consultant, he joined the then Daimler-Benz AG in 1987.

Andreas Gorbach

Andreas Gorbach was born in Ostfildern-Ruit on May 25, 1975. After graduating from high school in 1994, he studied Engineering and Process Technology at the University of Stuttgart from 1994 to 1999. From 1998 to 1999, he completed the Master Program System Dynamics and Control at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In 2005, he received his doctoral degree in Engineering and Process Technology from the University of Stuttgart. In 2005, Andreas Gorbach began his professional career at the former DaimlerChrysler AG in the powertrain development.

Karin Rådström

Karin Rådström was born on February 22, 1979 in Södertälje, Sweden. After graduating with a Master of Engineering in Industrial Management from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, she started as a trainee at Scania in 2004.

Since 2007, Karin Rådström held several managing positions at Scania. She started as Group Manager of Product Information within sales and marketing. She then worked in fleet management as Product Planner and Product & Area Manager for five years. In 2012, Karin Rådström was appointed as Director of Fleet & Driver Services with global responsibility for the service portfolio of connected vehicles and driver services. In 2014, she became Director for Pre-Sales & Marketing Communications for Scania East Africa in Kenya, based in Nairobi.

In 2016, she was appointed as the Senior Vice President and Head of Buses & Coaches Scania. From 2019 until 2020, Karin Rådström was responsible for Sales and Marketing at Scania as a member of the Executive Board.

Karl Deppen was born on April 1, 1966 in Osnabrueck, Germany. On top of an academic background in economics and business administration, he holds a dual MBA from the Vienna University of Economics and Business, Austria, and the University of Minnesota, USA. John O'Leary was born on August 17 1960 in the state of Washington, USA. In 1986, he graduated from Seattle University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. Prior to joining Daimler, he worked in the electronics industry for three years and the following eleven years at Paccar, Inc.

Till Oberwörder

CEO Daimler Buses

Till Oberwörder, born on February 1, 1971, is Head of Daimler Buses and CEO of Daimler Buses GmbH. He graduated in business administration at the Julius Maximilian University Würzburg in 1998 and joined the international Trainee Group at former DaimlerChrysler AG in Stuttgart.

The following year, he took over the position of the Assistant to the Vice President Sales Mercedes-Benz Trucks and transferred to a management position in Sales Controlling Mercedes-Benz Trucks. In the same year he became Senior Manager for Sales and Market Management for Northern and Western Europe in the Mercedes-Benz Truck division. In 2006 he was appointed President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Ceská Republika in the Czech Republic. In February 2011 Till Oberwörder returned to Stuttgart and became responsible for Sales at Mercedes-Benz Vans. In April 2012 he was appointed Head of Marketing, Sales and Aftersales at Daimler Buses and Director Sales at EvoBus GmbH. In July 2015 Till Oberwörder was Head of Marketing, Sales and Services Mercedes-Benz Trucks. In this capacity, he is responsible for Mercedes-Benz global Sales and Aftersales activities.

Till Oberwörder has been Head of Daimler Buses and CEO of Daimler Buses GmbH since April 1, 2018. In this position he is responsible for the worldwide bus business of the Daimler Truck Group.

Stephan Unger

Stephan Unger was born on April 8, 1967 in Dannenberg (Elbe), Germany. After graduating with a degree in Business Administration from the Technical University of Berlin, he started his professional career 1993 as Controller at ABB Henschel in Berlin, which became later DaimlerCrysler Railsystems GmbH (Adtranz). He then worked in several leading positions at Adtranz. In 2001, he joined the Mitsubishi Motors Corporation in Japan and was appointed Executive General Manager Group Controlling.
