March 12, 2026 - The German "Act on the Equal Participation of Women and Men in Management Positions in the Private and Public Sectors" applies to companies listed on the stock exchange or those subject to co-determination. In accordance with the legal requirements, Daimler Truck Holding AG reported its target figures for the proportion of women on its Supervisory Board and Board of Management, as well as at the two senior management levels below, while also specifying a deadline for their achievement in the annual report 2025. Daimler Truck AG is disclosing its targets and deadlines below.
Proportion of women in management positions at Daimler Truck AG
The German Stock Corporation Act (AktG) stipulates that the Supervisory Board of Daimler Truck AG shall determine target figures for the proportion of women on the Supervisory Board and the Board of Management and deadlines for their achievement. For its part, the Board of Management of Daimler Truck AG must set such target figures and deadlines for the two senior management levels subordinate to it.
In fulfillment of this legal obligation, on December 2, 2020 the Supervisory Board of Daimler Truck AG has adopted a resolution with regard to its own composition and set a target for the proportion of women of 30 % and a deadline of December 31, 2025 for achieving this goal. Since the defined target was reached with a proportion of women of 30 % by December 31, 2025 and the set deadline for achieving the target has expired, the Supervisory Board of Daimler Truck AG has set a new target for the proportion of women of 30 % for the Supervisory Board by resolution of December 5, 2025, and a deadline for achieving this target by December 31, 2030.
With resolution dated December 2, 2020, the Supervisory Board also set a target of 14 % for the proportion of women on the Board of Management of Daimler Truck AG and a deadline of December 31, 2025 for achieving this goal. At the time, the Board of Management of Daimler Truck AG consisted of seven people, so it was intended that at least one woman would be represented on the Board of Management in the future. Effective February 1, 2021, Karin Rådström was appointed to the Board of Management of Daimler Truck AG. With effect as of July 1, 2021, the Board of Management of Daimler Truck AG was expanded to a total of eight members.
According to the Act to Supplement and Amend the Regulations for the Equal Participation of Women and Men in Management Positions in the Private and Public Sectors (Second Management Positions Act, FüPoG II), which entered into force on August 12, 2021, the target figures must describe the intended proportion of women on the Board of Management and correspond to full numbers of persons in the case of information in percent. With resolution dated December 10, 2021, the Supervisory Board confirmed to fill at least one Board of Management position at Daimler Truck AG with a woman and to set a deadline of 31 December 2025 for this. In view of the expansion of the Board of Management to eight members, this results in a proportion of women of 12.5 %. As of December 31, 2025, the Board of Management of Daimler Truck AG, composed of seven members, included two women – Karin Rådström and Eva Scherer – corresponding to 28.6 %. The target set for the Board of Management was thus exceeded as of December 31, 2025. As the deadline for achieving the target has expired on December 31, 2025, the Supervisory Board of Daimler Truck AG has set a new target with resolution dated December 5, 2025 of filling at least two positions on the Board of Management with women, along with a new deadline for achieving this new target by December 31, 2030. Assuming that the Board of Management consists of seven members, this corresponds to a female share of 28.6 %. In the event of a reduction to six members of the Board of Management, this corresponds to a proportion of women of 33 %.
With resolution dated November 20, 2020, the Board of Management has set a target of 15 % for the proportion of women for the first and second management levels below the Board of Management and a deadline for achieving the target by December 31, 2025. As of December 31, 2025, the proportion of women for the first management level below the Board of Management of Daimler Truck AG was 7.1 %, with one woman and 13 men, and thus below the target of 15 %. Due to the small overall number of executives at the first management level below the Board of Management, individual personnel changes can lead to significant changes in the relative proportion. For this reason, the proportion of women at this level is subject to significant percentage fluctuations. This cannot be ruled out in the future. With resolution dated December 16, 2025, the Board of Management of Daimler Truck AG has set a new target of 21.4 % for the first management level below the Board of Management and a deadline for achieving this target by December 31, 2030. At Daimler Truck AG, this corresponds to three women out of a total of 14 employees – based on projected headcount. As of December 31, 2025, the proportion of women for the second management level below the Board of Management of Daimler Truck AG was 22.4 %, with 13 women and 45 men. The target of 15 % was thus exceeded. With resolution dated December 16, 2025, the Board of Management of Daimler Truck AG has set a new target of 25.9 % and a deadline for achieving the target by December 31, 2030. Based on a projected headcount at Daimler Truck AG, this corresponds to 15 women out of a total of 58 employees on the second management level.
