Compliance with export control law and applicable national and international economic sanctions is a fundamental principle of our entrepreneurial conduct.
Our defence offering
Within the Daimler Truck Group, Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks is responsible for the development, production and deployment of our special vehicles for both defence applications and civilian missions. At our main production sites in Wörth am Rhein (Germany) and Molsheim (France), we build upon decades of experience, conduct our own research and development, implement individual customer requirements and produce large volumes for major projects. Daimler Truck can also draw on its high production capacities for series trucks to serve orders from the defence sector, enabling a fast and flexible response to customer demand.
From the highly off-road-capable Unimog and Zetros to our A-series truck family (Atego, Actros and Arocs), Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks offers a wide range of complete vehicles for defence applications in various configurations and can provide special equipment and customization features on request due to its highly modular platforms. As a full-truck-range provider, our portfolio covers heavy-duty long haul missions as well as protected off-road support with vehicles from two-axle to four-axle, with or without a protected cab, with single or twin tyres, and in various emission standards. In addition, the company offers special chassis for protected superstructures and supplies CKD vehicle component kits, enabling local assembly in the customer’s country.
Furthermore, Daimler Truck is convinced that strong partnerships are key to effectively develop game-changing solutions for pressing capability gaps at scale. Therefore, we are continuously building our ecosystem with selected partners aiming to ensure the availability of the right portfolio and tailored services for customers at all times in Germany, Europe and beyond.
