  • High class luxury motorcoach
  • Attractive design, invitingly pleasant passenger compartment
  • Driver-oriented cockpit, powerful and frugal drive system
  • Comprehensive safety equipment

As a top-class motorcoach, the exhibition model redefines comfort as well as safety and operation. Passengers travel on the highest level, the driver takes a seat in a first-class cockpit and can benefit from all the assistance systems currently available. Finally, companies get a real flagship for their fleet with this Tourrider Premium – with amazing economy.

Attractive design, invitingly pleasant passenger compartment

A striking coach face with central star, discreet but unmistakable chrome decoration, elegant paintwork, integral mirrors at the front and a brand-typically powerful rear end - this Tourrider Premium is a calling card for the fleet. Passengers also immediately recognize that this is a very special motorcoach.

This impression continues in the interior. Below, a floor in wood design, comfortable standing height, high-quality Travel Star Xtra seating with lavish upholstery and even more lavish seat and backrest covers as well as the adjustable comfort headrests - this way travel becomes a pleasure. Sheer fascination arises when looking up at the glass roof. Finally, in the evening, a soft glow from the ambient lighting envelops passengers. They benefit from powerful air conditioning, large monitors, and power outlets for their electronic devices.

Driver-oriented cockpit, powerful and frugal drive system

The Comfort Plus cockpit means a distinction for every driver. Here it is equipped with a multifunction leather steering wheel in Mocha oak wood finish. The driver commands a powerful and economical drive. The Mercedes-Benz OM 471 six-cylinder in-line engine, in view of motorcoaches installed exclusively in NA Mercedes-Benz motorcoaches, coupled with an Allison automatic transmission and the Mercedes-Benz RO 440 smooth-running, quiet and reliable rear axle – that's all that needs to be said. Perhaps a word about the amazing driving dynamics, supported by the actively steered rear axle with independent suspension and the astonishingly small turning circle. The result is a model of excellent handling.

Comprehensive safety equipment

Mercedes-Benz is the very synonym for safety on wheels, for buses and coaches, too. The equipment list of this Tourrider Premium is correspondingly long.

It includes everything that is currently available in terms of safety and assistance systems, autonomous intelligent cruise control, Lane Assistant, Attention Assist and many systems more. In addition, the revolutionary assistance systems Active Brake Assist 5 with pedestrian detection, and the Sideguard Assist cornering assistant, are the provisional highlights of safety development for buses.
