Stuttgart/Pressig. Martin Regionalbus GmbH is back on track in the travel business with its Setra ComfortClass coach. The first destination for the S 515 HD with its 41 seats was the Thuringian capital of Erfurt.

The company from Pressig in Upper Franconia was founded in 1953 by Omnibus Martin GmbH, which has been relying on Setra touring coaches since the 70s. 

In 2020, however, Martin Regionalbus GmbH switched completely to scheduled service operation due to the coronavirus pandemic – and also chose the Setra brand after winning a route bundle tender in the district of Kronach. A total of twelve new low-entry S 415 LE business vehicles are now in service here.

But neither the management nor the numerous customers have abandoned their passions for comfortable coach travel. The demand was so great that the company had no problems reviving the travel business with the S 515 HD, featuring the latest active filters and antiviral functional layers from Daimler Buses. And thus also continuing the long-standing link to the Setra.
