Leinfelden-Echterdingen/Neu-Ulm/Freyung/Dachau/Regensburg. With Prager Reisen, Weger Reisen, and Söllner Reisen, three Bavarian travel operators are relying on vehicles from the Setra ComfortClass range.

Prager Reisen has taken delivery of two Setra ComfortClass touring coaches. The S 515 HD and S 517 HD models are equipped with 50 and 60 passenger seats respectively and will be used for premium tours as part of the company's own travel program as well as charter services for businesses, clubs, and schools. For Managing Director Stefan Prager, the partnership with the brand is particularly important: “We place great value on providing a safe and comfortable travel and driving experience for both our passengers and drivers. That's why we rely on modern Setra coaches.”

Both vehicles are equipped with MirrorCam, a 360-degree camera system, and an onboard galley. The family-owned company, founded in 1970 and now managed by Stefan Prager in its third generation, currently operates ten vehicles from the Ulm-based brand. These include seven Setra MultiClass low-entry intercity buses that provide scheduled passenger services in the districts of Freyung-Grafenau and Passau.

Weger Reisen expands its Setra fleet

The Dachau-based coach operator Weger Reisen e.K. is renewing its fleet with a Setra ComfortClass S 515 HD and S 516 HD. The S 515 HD, equipped with 51 seats, is the first brand-new vehicle acquired by Junior Managing Director Antonio Simunovic. Like the new S 516 HD, which features 55 Ambassador seats, the two-axle coach will be used on tours offered through the company's own travel program.

Both vehicles are fitted with the MirrorCam camera system, which replaces conventional exterior mirrors and provides drivers with an expanded field of vision through displays mounted inside the cabin.

Owner Damir Simunovic, who took over the family business north of Munich nine years ago, also offers the coaches for charter services, including day trips, club excursions, and school outings.

Weger Reisen currently operates six Setra-branded vehicles, including low-entry buses used in scheduled services in and around the Bavarian capital. In addition to passenger comfort, Damir Simunovic particularly appreciates Daimler Buses' “exceptionally strong service network”: “That is a sign of true premium quality. And Setra remains unmistakably distinctive.”

Söllner Reisen: Four Setras – four colors

Basalt gray, meteor gold, light orange, and white. With four new Setra ComfortClass coaches, Söllner-Reisen GmbH & Co. KG combines consistently high comfort standards with distinctive paint finishes. “Our diamond-pattern design always remains the same, but the colors of our coaches are always different. That way, customers discover a new vehicle every time,” explains Edgar Söllner, describing the company's unique concept.

The S 515 HD, S 516 HD, and S 517 HD coaches are deployed across the company's own travel program for cultural, leisure, and vacation tours, charter operations, and trips organized for partner travel agencies throughout Europe. The family business from Regensburg was founded in 1959 by Therese and Josef Söllner as a service station and transportation company. In 1966, the business expanded with the addition of its first coach.

Today, Söllner-Reisen GmbH & Co. KG is managed by the second and third generations of the family—Edgar Söllner and his sons Maximilian and Alexander. In addition to the four Setra ComfortClass vehicles, the company has also taken delivery of a Setra S 531 DT double-decker coach.
