Leinfelden-Echterdingen/Neu-Ulm/Ueckermünde/Heidenheim. Two new Setra coaches operated by Unser Roter Bus GmbH and Bundesliga soccer club 1. FC Heidenheim 1846 offer a very special ambiance.

The tour operator Unser Roter Bus from Ueckermünde in the German state of
Mecklenburg–Western Pomerania took delivery of a new Setra double-decker coach a few weeks ago. Among other features, the S 531 DT stands out with a space‑enhancing 2+1 seating configuration on the upper deck. In addition, each of the 32 leather seats is equipped with an individually controllable monitor system offering a wide range of video and audio content.

On the lower deck of the three‑axle coach, up to 16 passengers can relax in a bistro area, also seated on leather upholstery – beneath an illuminated starry ceiling.

The kitchen is equipped with three beer and water taps, four refrigerators, a convection oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a wine cooler. The vehicle’s restroom is integrated on a central podium at the rear staircase.

Featuring an illuminated Setra logo, the double‑decker coach is equipped with all currently available driver assistance and safety systems. It is used, among other applications, for city and wine tours as well as for guided tours in the Mediterranean region.

S 517 HDH for 1. FC Heidenheim

Omnibus Grötzinger GmbH, the long‑standing exclusive bus and travel partner of Bundesliga club 1. FC Heidenheim 1846, is providing the team with a new Setra coach. The S 517 HDH replaces the previous team bus, which had been in service for eleven years.

Players as well as the coaching and support staff can travel comfortably on all journeys aboard the individually configured Setra TopClass coach, which offers a total of
32 seats – including adjustable headrests embroidered with the FCH logo.

In addition, the coach is equipped, among other features, with a Dolby sound system and video screens. At the club’s request, the interior of the bus, featuring folding table‑leg supports, two retractable tables, and lockable storage compartments, is finished in the club colors red, blue, and white.

Not only the Bundesliga professionals from eastern Württemberg benefit from traveling in the three‑axle coach, which offers excellent privacy for passengers thanks to perforated window film. Outside the playing season, the S 517 HDH is also used by Omnibus Grötzinger, based in Bartholomä in the German state of Baden‑Württemberg, for trips as part of its own travel program.
