Leinfelden-Echterdingen / Bad Kissingen – Until June 7, 2026, visitors to the Abenteuer Allrad off-road and adventure exhibition can experience several highlights from Mercedes-Benz Trucks. Content creator Tobias Wagner, known as “Elektrotrucker,” is presenting his fully completed world-travel expedition vehicle for the first time: an eActros 600 equipped with a specially developed motorhome body from Bliss Mobil. Wagner plans to embark on a round-the-world journey with the vehicle this autumn. Hellgeth, a close partner of Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks, is showcasing several exceptional off-road and expedition vehicles based on the Unimog and Arocs platforms. The display includes the Luxury Unimog anniversary model, three Unimog TenereX expedition vehicles, and a Mercedes-Benz Arocs 6x6 configured as a Dakar Rally Service Truck.

Around the World in a battery-electric eActros 600

Content creator and professional truck driver Tobias Wagner, known across social media as “Elektrotrucker” with more than 160,000 followers, is undertaking an extraordinary project together with Mercedes-Benz Trucks: a round-the-world journey in the battery-electric eActros 600 long-haul truck.

Built at the Mercedes-Benz Trucks plant in Wörth am Rhein, the vehicle has been transformed into an expedition truck over recent weeks. Modifications include additional charging and off-road equipment as well as a custom-designed living module developed by Bliss Mobil. The project aims to demonstrate the real-world capabilities of battery-electric long-haul transport under demanding operating conditions.

The planned route will cover approximately 45,000 kilometres across more than 35 countries and is expected to require no more than 80 charging stops. The expedition is scheduled to last around one year and is set to begin this autumn. According to current plans, it would be the first circumnavigation of the globe in a fully battery-electric truck.

At Abenteuer & Allrad, visitors can see the completed expedition vehicle for the very first time.

Several Unimogs and an Arocs from Mercedes-Benz Trucks at the Hellgeth Stand

The specialist vehicle manufacturer Hellgeth is showcasing several expedition vehicles based on the highly capable off-road Unimog at Abenteuer Allrad. Among the highlights is the so-called Luxury Unimog, powered by a 300 hp engine and built as a special anniversary edition to celebrate the Unimog’s 80th birthday.

In addition, Hellgeth is presenting three Unimog TenereX models, specifically designed for demanding expedition travel. With the Unimog TenereX, Hellgeth offers customers a combination of comfort, well-thought-out storage solutions, and outstanding reliability in challenging terrain. Its compact dimensions and tight turning circle allow for safe and comfortable driving even on narrow mountain roads and forest tracks. Long suspension travel with coil springs, together with precise axle guidance and steering, further enhance the vehicle’s off-road performance and driving experience.

Hellgeth is also displaying a Mercedes-Benz Arocs 6x6, configured as a Dakar Rally Service Truck.
