Brzoza/Warsaw/Leinfelden-Echterdingen - A success for the dealer of Daimler Truck Poland, Sobiesław Zasada Automotive in Krakow: Kawczyński Logistics has officially received 75 brand new Mercedes-Benz Actros L ProCabin 1848 LS tractor units.
Kawczyński Logistics has been a customer of Sobiesław Zasada Automotive for 14 years. “The Mercedes-Benz Actros has been a core vehicle in our fleet for many years,” says Stanisław Kawczyński, Managing Director of Kawczyński Logistics. “The two previous generations have served us well, and we greatly appreciate the customer-oriented approach of the Daimler Truck Polska dealer, Sobiesław Zasada Automotive. The new Mercedes-Benz Actros L ProCabin will expand our fleet and ensure efficient operations. It is also important to us that our drivers are already very familiar with Mercedes trucks.” The new Mercedes-Benz Actros L with ProCabin will go into daily operation immediately, replacing the four-year-old Mercedes-Benz models currently in use. The company's fleet now comprises around 295 tractor units, a significant proportion of which are Mercedes-Benz trucks. “For us, every investment in the fleet is an investment in service quality, safety and delivery reliability. We look forward to expanding our business on the basis of modern Mercedes-Benz solutions,” emphasizes Stanisław Kawczyński.
The new Actros L ProCabin 1848 LS trucks are designed for long-distance international transport. In addition to comfort for the driver, they offer modern safety assistance systems. In their scope, the systems partially significantly exceed the strict standards of the General Safety Regulation (GSR) that apply since July 2024, which mandates a whole range of driver assistance systems in order to further increase road traffic safety for all parties involved. For example, the emergency brake assistant Active Brake Assist 6 can now also perform an automated full braking maneuver to a complete stop at speeds of up to 60 km/h in front of crossing, oncoming, or lane-driving road users. The 75 vehicles that Kawczyński Logistics has received have improved aerodynamics thanks to the new cab design, which can reduce fuel consumption by up to 3% compared to the previous model. For the first time, the Kawczyński Logistics fleet will be on the road with white-painted vehicles with red side logos.
