Leinfelden-Echterdingen – Sustainability arises where people take responsibility – and where projects translate into measurable impact. With its internal environmental award, the Green Mover Award, Daimler Truck recognizes employee-led initiatives that combine climate and environmental responsibility with operational and business targets.
A total of 107 projects from all regions of the company demonstrate how sustainability is embedded across Daimler Truck’s entire value chain – from product development and production to supply chains, training, and operational excellence. Together, these initiatives contribute to lower emissions, higher resource efficiency, and more resilient business processes.
Sustainability as a driver for long-term value creation
Eva Scherer, Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Board of Management of Daimler Truck, and executive sponsor of this year’s Green Mover Award:
“At Daimler Truck, sustainability is both a responsibility and a driver of long-term value creation. By creating scalable and effective solutions, we strive to turn climate ambition into tangible business outcomes - for our customers, our company and our shareholders. The Green Mover Award highlights the key role our employees play in this journey. I am particularly proud to see the passion and creativity of our global Daimler Truck team. Every single project demonstrates how we are moving forward with confidence and inspires others to take responsibility as well.”
