Daimler Truck Holding AG ("Daimler Truck") discloses preliminary and unaudited results for the second quarter of 2026 and raises its full-year guidance.

The U.S. Department of Commerce has approved Daimler Truck’s U.S. Content application with an effective date of November 1, 2025.  The preliminary second quarter 2026 results are not impacted by this decision.

Updated FY 2026 guidance

As a result of the updated tariff framework and higher expected unit sales for Trucks North America, Daimler Truck adjusts its full-year guidance as follows:

  • Daimler Truck Group, adjusted EBIT: €3.6 billion – €4.1 billion (previous: €3.2 billion – €3.7 billion)
  • Daimler Truck Group, unit sales: 340k – 370k (previous: 330k – 360k)
  • Industrial Business, revenue: €43 billion – €47 billion (previous: €42 billion – €46 billion)
  • Industrial Business, adjusted ROS: 7% – 9% (previous: 6% – 8%)
  • Industrial Business, Free Cash Flow: €3.0 billion – €3.5 billion (previous: €2.7 billion – €3.2 billion)

Trucks North America

  • Adjusted ROS: 9% – 11% (previous: 6% – 8%)
  • Unit sales: 160k – 180k (previous: 150k – 170k)

Due to the ongoing weak market situation in Latin America and Mexico, Daimler Buses reduces its unit sales guidance for 2026 to 20k – 25k (previous: 25k – 30k).

All other guidance items for 2026 remain unchanged.

The updated guidance is based on the assumption that the current United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) framework remains in place and does not reflect any potential changes in tariff policy, macroeconomic conditions, or geopolitical developments.

The following Q2 2026 results are preliminary and unaudited:

  • Daimler Truck Group, adjusted EBIT: €838 million (consensus: €878 million)
  • Industrial Business, revenue: €11,417 million (consensus: €11,547 million)
  • Industrial Business, adjusted ROS: 6.8% (consensus: 7.2%)
  • Industrial Business, Free Cash Flow: €1,762 million (consensus: €611 million)

For the individual segments, the preliminary and unaudited results for Q2 of 2026 are as follows:
