Leinfelden-Echterdingen – The Supervisory Board of Daimler Truck Holding AG (“Daimler Truck”) intends to propose to the Annual General Meeting in 2026 the appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft as the new group auditor for the financial year 2027.
This proposal is based on the outcome of a transparent and non-discriminatory tender process conducted in accordance with current European regulations. The process was initiated early and overseen by the Audit Committee to ensure a timely and well-structured transition of the audit mandate, while fully complying with independence requirements.
The change of auditor is legally required no later than for the financial year 2027. The reason is EU Regulation 537/2014, which sets a maximum duration for audit mandates. With the audit of the 2026 financial statements, the current auditor, KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft, will reach this regulatory limit.
