Leinfelden-Echterdingen/Neu-Ulm/Seligenporten/Grossheubach/Fjellhamar. Ludwig Arzt Omnibusverkehr e.K., Ehrlich Touristik GmbH & Co. KG, and the norwegian travel operator Jenssen Mobility are renewing their fleets with vehicles from the Setra ComfortClass.
Two S 515 HD coaches for bus operator Arzt Reisen of Seligenporten
Ludwig Arzt Omnibusverkehr is providing Lufthansa AG with two new Setra ComfortClass coaches. The two S 515 HD express coaches will be deployed on the route between Munich and Nuremberg. Operating ten times a day, they transport passengers of Germany’s largest airline between Munich Airport “Franz Josef Strauss” and Nuremberg Airport “Albrecht Dürer”, each covering around 350,000 kilometers (217,000 miles) per year.
The two-axle coaches, whose interior design has been adapted to Lufthansa’s corporate identity, are equipped with 40 seats and feature the latest safety and driver assistance systems. These include the Attention Assist (AtAs) system, which warns the driver of possible distraction or fatigue.
Arzt Managing Director Ernst Rupprecht cannot imagine better vehicles for these operations than those bearing the Setra brand: “Whether we are providing transfer services, city trips, or extended tours throughout Europe, Setra coaches have consistently met our high standards as a travel operator for many years. Quite simply, they stand for relaxation, comfort, and safety.”
Today, the long-established company from Seligenporten near Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate, founded 80 years ago by Ludwig Arzt as a freight transport business, operates a fleet of 70 Setra vehicles. The company has grown to become one of the largest privately owned bus operators in the Nürnberg region.
Ehrlich Touristik has new Setra coaches blessed
Ehrlich Reisen GmbH & Co. KG is rejuvenating its fleet with two new Setra coaches. The two Setra ComfortClass S 516 HD coaches each offer 48 seats equipped with individually adjustable leather headrests and footrests.
“Setra coaches combine comfort, elegance, and quality at the highest level, ensuring that our passengers feel at ease from the very first minute,” said Managing Director Stefan Ehrlich during the ceremonial handover at the Daimler Buses Customer Center in Neu-Ulm, where the vehicles were also blessed by a priest.
Stefan Ehrlich added: “We want our drivers and passengers to travel safely at all times.”
For the managing director, who leads the family-owned company from Großheubach in Lower Franconia in its second generation, taking delivery of the two three-axle coaches was also an emotional moment: “My mother would have been very proud that we chose Setra once again, because she was a great admirer of the brand.”
The new coaches will be used both for charter services for companies, clubs, and schools, as well as for the company's own travel program, which includes day trips, study tours, and customized group travel.
Jenssen Mobility aims to become Norway’s leading bus operator with Setra
The Norwegian bus company “Jenssen Mobility” has added two new Setra S 515 HD coaches to its fleet. The ComfortClass vehicles are each equipped with 49 seats and will be used for a wide range of operations, including charter services, rail replacement transport, corporate events, school transportation, and sightseeing tours.
The company, based in Fjellhamar, has been a Setra customer since 2013, when it purchased two double-decker buses. Today, the operator’s fleet includes 12 vehicles from the Ulm-based brand.
According to Managing Director Frode Jenssen, several factors influenced the decision to order additional Setra coaches: the brand’s high product quality, excellent cost efficiency throughout the vehicles’ lifecycle, and a clear focus on customer satisfaction.
“Our goal is to become Norway’s leading bus operator while operating the best coaches available on the market.”, said Frode Jenssen.
