Leinfelden-Echterdingen / Neu-Ulm / Buchberg. Steidl.Reisen GmbH & Co. KG is turning turn 50 – and is celebrating this anniversary with the delivery of two new Setra buses. The black S 515 HDH buses of the new-look TopClass range are equipped with 44 seats and will take passengers of the Upper Palatinate company to destinations throughout Europe. And this is done as safely, comfortably and ecologically as is currently possible because the two-axle vehicles are equipped with the latest driver assistance and safety systems from Daimler Buses.

A particular highlight: One S 515 HDH bears the likeness of “Grandma and Grandpa”. This is because the married couple Franz and Martha Brandl who manage the company have dedicated the new vehicle to the company founders Alois and Elfriede Steidl, who founded the bus company in Buchberg in the Upper Palatinate in 1973. The company, which initially worked in school, commuter and holiday transport, grew rapidly. With grandson Christopher there is now a third-generation member of the company, which employs more than 100 employees and currently has eight vehicles of the Ulm premium brand in its fleet.
