Leinfelden-Echterdingen/Šenčur, Slovenia – For 130 years, Mercedes‑Benz Trucks, the inventor of the truck, has been shaping the future of the transport industry with innovations that continuously redefine mobility, safety, and efficiency. One example is the long-term partnership with the Slovenian logistics company Štempihar Transport, which has now expanded its fleet with additional Mercedes‑Benz Actros L ProCabin trucks.
The family-owned company from Šenčur is one of Slovenia’s established logistics providers and has consistently relied on vehicles with the star since its founding. Today, the fleet consists of 42 Mercedes‑Benz trucks.
The relationship between Mercedes‑Benz Trucks and Štempihar Transport dates back 37 years: from the company’s very first truck to today’s state-of-the-art fleet. The decision to standardize exclusively on Mercedes‑Benz is deeply embedded in the business model and contributes significantly to the company’s growth.
Company founder Slavko Štempihar emphasizes: “From the very beginning, I trusted Mercedes‑Benz, and that trust has proven itself over 37 years. The reliability of these trucks has allowed me to build the company with confidence and focus on what matters most: our customers and sustainable growth.”
His son, Luka Štempihar, who is already actively involved in developing the company further, continues this tradition and links it with modern logistics expertise.

With the Actros L ProCabin models, Štempihar Transport relies on the latest generation of modern Mercedes‑Benz truck technology. The vehicles offer excellent aerodynamics, low total cost of ownership, and advanced safety and assistance systems — key advantages especially in international long-haul transport.
From a driver’s perspective, the Actros L ProCabin also sets new standards.
