As part of its transformation into an independent company, Daimler Truck has restructured the global spare parts supply network (aftersales logistics) for Mercedes-Benz trucks. At the heart of this global spare parts network is the newly built Global Parts Center (GPC) in Halberstadt, Saxony-Anhalt.
Halberstadt
Daimler Truck Global Parts Center
Following its official inauguration in summer 2025, the Global Parts Center was ramped up in a multi-step-phased process. Since June 2026, the logistics hub has been supplying more than 20 regional logistics centers and around 3,000 dealers worldwide with spare parts, including locations across Europe, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Brazil, and Australia.
The new facility in Halberstadt's Ost Industrial Park features a gross built-up area of approximately 270,000 square meters, including around 260,000 square meters dedicated to logistics operations—the equivalent of more than 35 football fields. Two large parallel warehouse buildings, each measuring approximately 200 meters in width and 600 meters in length, handle inbound and outbound goods separately.
From the outset, the new logistics center was designed for CO₂-neutral operations. Its energy concept completely eliminates the use of fossil fuels.
The logistics site was opened after just two and a half years of construction.
