Due to its status as an independent company, Daimler Truck is reorganizing the global spare parts supply (aftersales logistics) for Mercedes-Benz Trucks. The heart of the global spare parts supply is an all-new logistics location, the Global Parts Center (GPC), which has been built in Halberstadt, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. In the future, around 2,600 Mercedes-Benz Trucks suppliers will stock the GPC with their parts.

In mid-May 2025, goods began to be accepted at the GPC, so logistics areas and shelves are gradually filling up. The building was officially inaugurated in July 2025. From the beginning of 2026, the new location will serve over 20 regional logistics centers and almost 3,000 dealers worldwide – for example, in various European countries, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Brazil, and Australia.
The new building in Halberstadt's East Industrial Park has a gross floor area of around 270,000 square meters in its first phase of expansion, with around 260,000 square meters of logistics space. Around 650 skilled jobs will be created at the GPC by early 2026.
The new logistics location is being planned for CO₂-neutral operation from the outset, with the energy concept completely dispensing with fossil fuels.
