Daimler Truck Vehicle Assembly and Manufacturing Plant

Mercedes-Benz Trucks is continuing to systematically strengthen the future viability of its European production network. In this context, the company plans to expand its existing network by adding a vehicle assembly and manufacturing site in Cheb (Karlovarský/Karlsbad region) in the Czech Republic. Subject to all pending approvals, construction is scheduled to begin in 2027. The new site is planned to start operations toward the end of the decade.

At the new assembly site in Cheb, both vehicles with conventional and alternative drivetrains will be produced in the future. According to current plans, the site is designed for an annual production capacity of around 25,000 units. Over 1,000 jobs are expected to be created at the Cheb location.
