Harald Dorn

Harald Dorn was born in 1971 in Rodalben, Germany. After obtaining his general university entrance qualification and completing a two-year training as a reserve officer of the German Armed Forces, he studied industrial engineering in Kaiserslautern with a major in mechanical engineering. In parallel with his studies, he worked - among others - in the office team of the University President. Harald Dorn obtained his degree in 1998 and entered the then Daimler-Benz AG in the same year.

Following his activity as assistant of the Head of Production at the Wörth site, Harald Dorn performed various leadership tasks in the Truck unit of Daimler-Benz AG. During his time at Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks, he was a member of management. Since 2014, he has been responsible for the work preparation workshop for the Wörth and Aksaray sites as an interface between Development and Production.

Furthermore, Harald Dorn is the elected Chairman of the Central and Group Spokesperson's Committee of Senior Executives at Daimler Truck AG and Chairman of the Spokesperson's Committee of Senior Executives at Mercedes-Benz Plant Wörth. He was a member of the Group Spokesperson's Committee Mercedes-Benz Group AG.

Harald Dorn is a member of the following other legally mandatory supervisory boards and comparable supervisory bodies:

In addition to his activity as employee representative, he performs honorary functions at the non-profit association Star Care Rheinland-Pfalz e.V. and holds the chair of the affiliate foundation SternHilfe Rheinland-Pfalz, among others.
